Peace Studies group deliver History workshop to Holy Trinity Primary School Pupils By Ben Kettyles Year 13 The Year 13 Peace Studies programme, undertaken in conjunction with the Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, came to a close on Monday 3rd June with a visit to the Cornagrade site of Holy Trinity Primary School, where the group presented the culmination of many weeks work to the P7 year group. The focus of the presentation was 'Women’s Suffrage', and the Year 13s were spread out into 5 groups, each with the aim of informing the P7 children about the origins and impact of Women's Suffrage. STEM Summer Camp

The St Michaels-Sentinus STEM Summer Camp back! This year it is on the 22nd - 26th July 9:30am-4:15pm (drop off from 8:30am, pickup by 5pm). Give your children the opportunity to work in teams, problem solve, use their creativity and, most of all have great fun while designing and building their "City of the Future". They will work together on a project throughout the week and show off their work at the presentation ceremony on the last day. Open to boys and girls aged 9-13. Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards Success

The Irish News Workplace & Employment Awards were held last Thursday night at Titanic, Belfast. St Michael’s were shortlisted in the Career Inspiration Category in the Small Organisation section, one of 9 categories. Some of these companies are well known, high profile organisations such as FinTru, CDE Global and Novosco. The school came out as award winners on the night against other nominees from the business sector and schools. Funding for Healthy Minds, Resilience Training and Suicide Prevention

St. Michael’s College are delighted to have been awarded a grant of £9600 from the National Lottery Awards for All Fund. The award will be used to facilitate training of a number of staff members in PIPS - Train-the-Trainer programme, which is a well recognised and award winning project that has been introduced across a wide range of schools, universities and police forces across the UK. The project will allow the school to access expert support to develop and build the capacity of staff to address the needs of the school community in relation to the areas of Healthy Minds, Resilience Training and Suicide Prevention.
