St. Michael’s are celebrating the news that four of their pupils have been placed in the top three in Northern Ireland for GCSE and A’ level performance. Eoin Bannon was placed 3rd in GCSE Irish, Ronan Lunny 2nd in GCSE German and Finn McQuillan was placed 3rd in GCSE French and 2nd in GCSE Irish.
Conor Owens achieved the remarkable feat of being placed 1st in Northern Ireland in both A’ Level Biology and A’ Level Religious Studies.
Principal Mark Henry commented ‘this is a tremendous achievement for the boys. They are all fully deserving of this recognition which is testament to their talent and commitment to their studies. These awards also recognise the fabulous work of our outstanding team of teachers whose expertise enable the boys to excel.’
Eoin, Ronan and Finn are currently studying A’ Levels at St. Michael’s, while Conor is now studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Trinity College in Dublin.
