Mr Ronan McKee was in St Michael's on Wednesday 8th November, facilitating African Drumming Workshops for Year 10 pupils.
As the students are studying world music, he was invited by Mrs Hanratty to give the whole year group a 'hands on' experience of African music. Over the course of the workshops the pupils were taught West African drum rhythms and were able to perform a traditional dance on Djembe drums.
The boys thoroughly enjoyed it and from evaluations of the day, would highly recommend to future Year 10 students!
