During the Lenten season this year, Saint Michael’s students and staff organised a variety of events to raise money for Trócaire. This year the focus of Trócaire’s Lenten Campaign was on climate change, in particular the Central American country of Honduras. Floods and hurricanes are destroying the lives of many Hondurans. Climate change is said to be the defining issue of our time.
As always there was a wide range of activities that took place;

A special well done to class 9M and their Form Teacher Mrs. West, they are the top fundraising class-raising £1000. Class 8O with Miss Corrigan just missed out on the top spot raising a brilliant £960! Well done boys!!
The total raised this year is a fantastic £5250.
