St Michaels pupils receive prestigious Arkwright Scholarship Awards

Three students undertook a series of rigours assessments which proved their outstanding engineering potential. Donald Joy, Eoin Magee and Mathew Rowsome were handpicked from 2000 competitive students from across the UK. Donald Joy was presented with his certificate at the IET in Central London. Eoin Magee and Mathew Rowsome were presented with their certificates in Edinburgh. Each scholar will receive: £600, a mentor, VIP access to world renowned companies and many opportunities to attended connect days with like-minded students. St. Michael’s college will be presented with £1200 to further assist their talented students in becoming engineering leaders who will change the face of the future.

All Ireland silver medals

All Ireland silver medals for Frank Buchanan, Charlie Rehill, Tiarnan McManus and Connie Rasdale representing Enniskillen Running Club, while in Ballyclare there were wins for Oisin Cassidy (1st U20 and 4th senior man), Cormac McCauley and Conor Mulligan, and several other medals. Well done all.
