Lego Mindstorm Robotics Competition

Year 10 students from St. Michael’s College are working hard on the design and build of their Lego MIndstorms Robot to take part in the WTRA (World Teenage Robotics Association) competition. The competition is taking place in Northern Ireland for the first time this summer and managed by Sentinus. St. Michael’s students will compete against a number of European schools including the Republic of Ireland and from China on the 19th July in Belfast City Hall. St. Michael’s students involved in the competition are Eoin Magee, Donald Joy and Liam Maguire.

Year 10's Mentor Young Scientists

The following pupils acted as mentors to the pupils from Mullanaskea who were in here in the Science and T&D depts in January. The primary pupils started their young scientist project here in the school and now our Year 10 mentors will be accompanying them to the RDS Young Scientist Fair held this year in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast as they present their projects. Draft Nutrition Policy

There is only one change in section 4 and highlighted in red. A consequence of this change is that the boys will not be allowed to consume or bring fizzy drinks or bars or junk food in general into school. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to comment on the policy. We would like all comments in by Friday 16th June 2017.
