Aware - Promoting Positive Mental Health

KS3 participated in a Mood Walk on Tuesday 30th May. The aim of the walk was to promote the importance of positive mental health. We also fundraised for Aware NI who deliver mental health programmes in the school by making it a non uniform day. Trócaire 2017 Lenten Campaign

During the Lenten season this year, Saint Michael’s students and staff organised a variety of events to raise money for Trócaire. This year the focus of Trócaire’s Lenten Campaign was on climate change, in particular the Central American country of Honduras. Floods and hurricanes are destroying the lives of many Hondurans. Climate change is said to be the defining issue of our time.
