Three members of staff from St Michael’s recently raised £645 for the Aisling Centre in memory of their much loved and respected colleague, Adrian Power. Sean Carlin and Helen Davis ran the Walled City marathon and Francis Shaw accompanied by Ben Power completed the Wicklow 200 cycle sportive recently. Eight Senior Prefects completed training as Anti-Bullying Ambassador Leaders on 24th June 2016. Training was delivered by the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Programme funded by Comic Relief. The students will have a key role in the promotion of Anti-Bullying messages/initiatives across the school with a special focus on year 8.
The date for this launch will be 2pm on Friday 17th June at St Michael’s College. How did this partnership come about? The idea was born out of a Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) careers speed date event which was attended by Seán Carlin (Head of Careers) & Connor Mc Barron (Head of Technology & Design) during February 2015. During the course of the last year Connor McBarron, Seán Carlin and our Principal, Mr Mark Henry have engaged with Mr Kevin Lunney
